Beetle Kill Pine Casket with top one half open Hand made by Greenleaf CraftsmenFor the past 20 years, there has been a growing trend in America away from showy wealth and back to the original values of logical frugality, simplicity, and dignity.  In the coffin industry, this means a turn away from ornate metal boxes, toward the simple dignity of high-quality, honestly made wooden boxes.
A casket from Greenleaf is a casket steeped in meaning: the wood is entirely Colorado grown, cut, and milled on-site by our crew.
The mill equipment itself is antique and completely non-computerized, and so cutting the lumber here requires skill and caring.
Finally, our caskets are designed according to customers’ specifications, and are planed, built, and finished by our craftsmen.

#FK0000M, #FK0000A                             from $1200 to $1600   Call us for details.

Shipping: Available within one or two days delivery time by motor freight.  Please contact us for shipping costs and arrangements. You can also pick up items at our store in Westcliffe.
Sales tax will be added to above pricing.

Our caskets:
Four kinds of wood – white aspen, blue-stained pine, red Douglas-fir, and plain yellow pine – are used to make top-quality “pine” caskets.  Some focus on bringing out the beauty of one kind of wood; others form harmonious mixes of two or three. You can request what suits your needs and spirit.

Our caskets are traditional rectangular boxes with three handles on each side.  They are padded and lined on the inside bottom and have a simple pillow.

A family seeking personal involvement may help with the lining or final finishing of the casket.  Some may prefer hands-on assembly through our kits.

Note: Greenleaf keeps in stock at least one completed casket for immediate shipping. We will finish and store special models upon request.
