  • CHANGES AT OUR MILL SITE:  Our new Showroom building  continues progress, the new solar drying sheds are up, and new sawmilling and pole peeling/ railing equipment is gradually being installed!  Our automatic sawmill continues a full restoration job. We are continuously expanding our milling and processing capability.

  • COMMUNITY WILDFIRE PLAN: the Custer County Community Wildfire Protection Plan is now complete.  The 60 page document is full of photos and ideas for the county. It will serve as the foundation document for the new project,  The Forest Stewardship Master Plan for the Sangres.

  • SEEKING WOODCRAFTERS: Greenleaf is looking for creative woodcrafters to contribute locally made items (from our wood)to sell inthe Showroom each summer, as well as to sell via the website. More information coming soon . . . .

     
  • A stand replacing wind event happened on Novemeber 13, 2011 in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.Thousands of acres were affected with sometimes 50-100 trees per acre down. See article on "The Night the Trees Died"
